There is only one store that can be marked as my go-to brand for most of my clothing and household item purchases. Growing up in Newfoundland, there weren't too many choices in places to shop, now there are many more choices, but we we still choose Sears. These days most of my shopping is done online, I love the ease of searching the Sears Canada site for deals and comparing items to see which products best fit my needs. The quality brands carried within the catalogues and stores have filled my parents and grandparents homes as well. Sears Canada (online) is also a very convenient choice when I shop for gifts to send family members who still live in Newfoundland. I can select my gifts and send them to their nearest Sears Parcel pick up location, which is much cheaper than buying gifts and mailing through another parcel service, just sayin'.
My girl is going into senior kindergarten so this was our first time doing real Back to School shopping. My tip to survive shopping with a 5 year old that must try on everything before buying (she's very tall and slim) I don't tend to do large sums of purchases all at once, but pick and choose deals weekly to get all the must-have items on my list.
As people start the countdown to the new school year, Sears Canada is looking to brighten the day of some lucky families who have school aged children. During the month of August, random shoppers will have a chance to win their children's clothing purchases in their Surprise and Delight event.
