Willpower Motivation From Kellogg's {Special K Full Size Sample Giveaway}.

I am a supply teacher. This means I could be called to open a child care centre at 6 am.  On the days that I receive an early call and have to run out of the house in a hurry, packing lunch and eating breakfast are not likely to happen.  I try to keep granola bars in my purse for a quick snack to keep me going, but am usually more vulnerable to choosing junk or fast food when meal time finally comes.
Special K Willpower Kit
Approximate value- $35.
Kelloggs recently sent me a Willpower Box with Special K Protein cereal, two bottles of Morning Shake, and coupon booklets for Kelloggs products. I grabbed one of the shakes from my fridge to drink on the bus for my next early morning wake up call.  I liked the taste and the fact that it is a "source of protein and 12 essential nutrients".  I wish the sugar content was lower though, 19 grams of sugar in one serving is a little high.  It's safer than eating a doughnut I guess.  The cereal is good enough to put in a baggie and keep in my purse to eat when I'm fighting a snack attack.

Kellogg's is offering one of these Willpower Boxes to one of my readers as well.  You may enter across multiple blogs but only win once. Entrants must be 18 years or older and have a Canadian Address (Quebec Residents are not eligible).

I always have water on hand. I've discovered that often when I think I'm hungry, a drink of water will kill the craving. Guess it's a sign of dehydration.

I defeat my snack attacks by first drinking water as my hunger may just be thirst. If that fails, I eat a healthy granola bar to curve the cravings.

I try to drink water or juice first, and if that doesn't work, fresh celery, carrots and cucumber. If that doesn't work, a bowl of oatmeal with cinnamon in it helps me.

I usually have frozen buns and cheddar grillers in my freezer. They thaw fast, are precooked and you can eat them out of your hand....minus the ketchup of course.
