 It's amazing that such tiny people can require big furniture and masses of baby gear into our homes.  We brought our girl home to a tiny apartment so I tried to choose items that would fit our space and be multi-tasking.  I converted a child desk into a diaper change table.  And now that desk will be hers since she just started JK, sniff, sniff.  I have to confess, my Sears crib was one of the best investments. Gifted by my parents from my Sears Baby Wish List, it converted to a toddler bed when princess turned 2 years old and would still be with us now if she hadn't begged for a big girl bed with no bars at age 3.  This crib also had a shelf underneath for extra storage, which helped since space was at a premium. 

Four years ago yesterday, I brought home my tiny baby girl bundled in the car seat and pink outfit that seemed all too big for her 6 lb squirminess.  As I prepared for her arrival in the months before her birth, many trips were made to SEARS as I compiled my Baby Wish List. (FYI- I missed her predicted birth date by a few hours.)  Babies usually arrive on their own time.
