Fresh New Chicken Bacon McWrap from @McD_Canada

I don't eat at McDonald's very often, but I do love their coffee so stop for one almost daily. Earlier this week I stopped for an iced coffee (which BTW is part of the Summer long $1 drink promo) and remembered that I had coupons floating around the bottom of my purse. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Bacon McWrap, you have the option of getting grilled chicken in your wrap as well.

My first impression of the McWrap was regarding it's size. If you compare it to the snack wraps at McDonald's the new McWrap is a full meal portion.  The innovative cardboard tube that it arrived in is clever as well. You'll find a pull tab about 2/3 's of the way down the tube that will separate the top from the bottom. Pull the top off to reveal your McWrap.  This allowed me to eat with one hand while trying to tend to my three year old who insisted in sitting in the big girl seat next to me even though her chin doesn't reach the table.

The taste was what I expected, since I chose a "safe" flavour profile.  Warm crispy chicken, with cool, fresh lettuce and tomato, dressed with mayonnaise. All rolled up in a large tortilla wrapper and held together with the bottom portion of the McWrap holder.

Verdict:
This new product came at a perfect time when we are looking for fresher menu items as Summer heats up.  The convenience of eating with one hand is appealing to me as well.  I will try the McWrap again and may be brave enough to try either the Fiesta or the Sweet Chili options.
