I grew up playing with Barbie dolls and Hot Wheels cars.  Barbie helped introduce me to a world filled with opportunity and her many outfits inspired hours of imaginary play.  My favourite dolls included- Peaches and Cream, Day to Night, and Crystal Barbie.  Wish I had photos of all of these dolls from the mid-80's.  I was quite picky with keeping the integrity of each dolls special outfit.  I would glue the shoes to their feet to keep them from falling off and getting lost because I brought them everywhere with me.

One of my favourite memories of Barbie involves clearing off a short bookshelf, lining it with old wallpaper, and making it into a Barbie mansion for my dolls.
