I used
Lysol All Purpose (formerly labeled as 4-in1) trigger spray before I had a kid and a cat, now I take advantage of buy-one-get-one-free coupons and have a bottle in every room. My favourite scent is green apple and I tend to buy that scent in the
Lysol Disinfectant (Deoderizing) spray and wipes as well. I wish the
Lysol All Purpose liquid was available in
Green Apple, I have to settle for the Lemon scent. At least this matches the lemon scented soap in the
No Touch Kitchen system. What has this got to do with anything? I love to have a clean home, but also don't want to spend a tonne of time doing it. Streamlining my chores by having good products at hand helps speed things up so I can try to slip some ME TIME into the week. Most of my ME TIME is spent hiding in the bathroom, sitting on the floor and trying to read a book without the Princess or the cat breaking down the door. Yes, the cat can open doors.
ME TIME can include a guilty pleasure that involves a secret reality TV addiction. Though TV time is limited to late night after the Princess is asleep and after I've caught up on social media connections and my college courses.

Another special treat for ME TIME is booking a vacation to my hometown to visit my parents in Newfoundland. I just got back from a 2 week trip and the natural beauty takes my breath every time. Once in a while I wish I could spend my income tax return on a getaway to Jamaica or Cuba. Instead, my heart song calls for salt air, expansive views of lush green hills, and the embrace of those I love and miss all year long. Seeing my parents and siblings, along with extended family recharges my soul and gives me a fresh start for the next year. There is nothing like a good late-night chat with the ones who know you best! My mom brings me back down to earth and my sister makes me laugh more than anyone in the world. It's always sad to say good-bye, but we leave a little thicker around the waist from all the fresh seafood, and filled with joy from enjoying the good company.
