Knock Out Some Holiday Tension With Peppermint Bark 2x.

White Chocolate with Peppermint Candy Cane Pieces.
What I used:
12 Squares ~ or 2 boxes of Baker's White Chocolate
5 candy canes

parchment paper-lined tray

What we did:

  1. Hubby crushed some candy canes in a baggie. I told him a mug would do, but he insisted a hammer was better.
  2. I melted the chocolate in a double boiler.
  3. When chocolate is smooth and easily pours off your spoon, spread it on a large tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. Sprinkle broken candy cane pieces over surface, and place in fridge to cool.
  5. Break the chocolate bark into shards and store in freezer up to 1 month.

Mint Flavoured Semi Sweet Chocolate
with Peppermint Candy Cane.
What I used:
8 squares ~ or 1 box of Baker's semi sweet chocolate
2 packages of Chipits mint flavoured chips
7 candy canes

parchment-lined tray

What we did:
Repeat the steps for white chocolate bark.  I didn't bother washing the pot, just be sure to melt the white chocolate first.

Variations:
Swirl the white chocolate and the semi-sweet chocolate together on tray for an interesting effect.

Use any flavour of candy cane you like. I sometimes make a semi-sweet chocolate bark with cherry candy canes.
