IRON KIDS Gummies Review & Giveaway: "Do You Take Your Vitamins Everyday?"

My Inspiration.
I was  introduced to Iron Kids Gummies after winning a giveaway a few months ago.  I received a box of each kind of vitamin pictured above, a reusable water bottle, a notepad, magnet, and pen.  My daughter wasn't two years old yet, so I held off on opening the vitamins up.  Everything else was fair game, and used with glee.  After her second birthday, we began to try the Calcium and Omega 3 Gummies and I was inspired to post about falling in love with the products.  (The other two boxes I donated to a local food bank so another family could benefit.) Yes, of course I tried them myself. I'd never give my daughter anything I wouldn't be willing to sample myself.  I have a hard time swallowing pills, so these are a tasty alternative to regular vitamins.  I already feel better- with more energy- in the 3 weeks since taking them.   After trying the Adult Essentials Gummies at the Shes Connected Conference, I am now a loyal fan of having my own gummies vitamins- but will talk more about that product on another date.

My Doubts.
First off, I was skeptical about introducing my daughter to a "medicinal" product that looked and tasted like candy. I use the word medicine lightly, I know it isn't medicine, they are health supplements.  But I also know that they would be unhealthy for her in large quantities so I was happy to see the tamper proof and child-safe cap on the bottle. Even so the Iron Kids Gummies are kept high in a cupboard and dosed out with adult supervision.  Princess Destructo does refer to them as candy, and will ask for them a few times a day.  I use it as a teachable moment and try to redirect her by saying they are "vitamins" and are for breakfast only.  I tried doling them out in two doses, but it seems to invite more opportunities for tantrums, than having her two gummies at once.

Why I Am A True Fan.
While preparing to try the Iron Kids Gummies, and reading up for this review I was happy to see the ingredient lists held no surprises.  I love to promote products that my friends and family would benefit from.  These vitamins are guaranteed to be "dairy, gluten and nut free" so are safe for my family member with severe nut allergy.  These gummies taste good, and have already made a difference in my feeling of wellness.   Last but not least, I LOVE to stand behind Canadian businesses, and Life Science Nutritionals has made a range of products that would benefit my entire family!
