Cheesy Chicken Parm. & Breaded Chicken Caesar Salad: Two Recipes Inspired by Life Choices Breaded Chicken Burgers.

Chicken Parm.

Shopping List & Preparation:
  • 1/2 jar of your favourite pasta sauce
  • 2 breaded chicken burgers, cooked according to directions. (1 per person for a supper portion)
  • 2-3 ounces of your favourite melting cheese (mozzarella, provolone, havarti, cheddar, etc)
  • 2 Tablespoons of grated Parmesan.
  • 2 teaspoons of Roasted Red Pepper Mrs. Dash.
  • A pinch of Italian Herb seasoning
What I did:
  1. Bake the chicken burgers according to package directions. I sprinkled each with a pinch of Roasted Red Pepper Mrs. Dash before baking.
  2. Pour your favorite marinara or other pasta sauce into a baking pan.
  3. Place the cooked chicken burgers into the sauce. Sprinkle more Mrs. Dash over the whole dish.
  4. Top with 2 ounces of Roasted Garlic Havarti (1 oz./burger)and Parmesan cheese .
  5. Sprinkle Italian Herbs.
  6. Broil for 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and brown.
  7. Serve along with your favorite pasta or a salad.

Oven-Ready

After 5-10 mins under broiler.
Chicken Caesar Salad.

The second time I prepared the chicken burgers I skipped the bun.  And added them to my favourite salad.  Almost any salad that you would add chicken breast too will work for this recipe.  I didn't take the time to capture this meal in a photo because I was too busy trying to get my daughter not to swipe it.

Caesar Salad

  4. Sprinkle with Garlic and Herb Mrs. Dash.
  5. Toss the Breaded Chicken into a prepared Caesar salad.

I consider myself a home chef and genuine foodie, so am always looking for new ways to create the foods we love to eat.  I recently did a Food Review for Life Choices on behalf of Our Family World.  While exploring meal options using the Breaded Chicken Burgers from this Canadian company, I came up with two recipes I wanted to share.  I prefer havarti cheese because it is super-melty, and can be found in a variety of flavours.  When you see the final result, it's hard to believe that I only used a small amount of cheese for this recipe. Of course the Hubs noticed and said; "Where's the rest of the cheese?".  This recipe is a keeper for our family, he ate it all and wanted more!  I won't even apologize for displaying my Chicken Parm. in a foil pan. When I'm testing many recipes in one day, I run out of pots and pans.  And I would rather be eating what I made, not scrubbing pots!
P.S. Next time I will attempt to clean up the plate a bit before snapping photos.
